By the sea
Let’s read together: By the sea
Baby, would you like to be
Out upon the shining sea,
Rocking in a tiny boat
Where the pretty sea-birds float?
While the little clouds at play,
Idle all the summer day.
But, my baby, you must know
When the stormy winds do blow,
And the angry waves arise
High as mountains to the skies;
Then my little baby’s head
Better far, would be in bed.
