She sells lost thimbles
\nFor fairy milk pails
\nAnd burnt-out matches
\nFor fence posts and rails.
\nShe sells stray marbles
\nTo bowl on the green,
\nAnd bright scattered bends
\nFor the crown of the queen.<\/p>\n

Oh, don’t feel badly
\nOver things that you lose
\nLike spin tops or wistles
\nOr dolls buckled shoes;
\nThey may be the things that
\nFairy folk can use,
\nFor down in tbe grasses
\nWhere the grasshoppers hop
\nA withered old fairy
