\nGardener’s garters, Shepherd’s purse,
\nBachelor’s buttons, Lady’s smock,
\nAnd the Lady Hollyhock.<\/p>\n

Fairy places, fairy things,
\nFairy woods where the wild bee wings,
\nTiny trees for tiny dames
\nThese must all be fairy names!<\/p>\n

Tiny woods below whose boughs
\nShady fairies weave a house;
\nTiny tree tops, rose or thyme,
\nWhere the braver fairies climb!<\/p>\n

Fair are grown up people’s trees,
\nBut the fairest woods are these;
\nWhere if I were not so tall,
